TFR of Rajasthan

What is TFR?

When we talked about family planning at that point in time, there is one major component that we measure in every family planning survey and that is TFR.

TFR stands for Total Fertility Rate, which is defined as the average number of children a woman will have by the time she ends childbearing.

Now let's have a quick look at NFHS data and try to make a column chart survey-wise.

According to the above graph, we can conclude that in NFHS5 Rajasthan TFR is 2.0 which is decreased by 0.4 childer in between two-phase of NFHS.
